TUI Extends Flight Cancellations to Spain, Portugal, and Morocco Amid COVID-19 Concerns

The airline TUI has canceled its flights and vacation destinations to Morocco, Spain, Cyprus and Portugal due to the health crisis related to Covid-19.
The low-cost airline has extended flight cancellations for mainland Spain and Portugal until Friday, August 28, while it does not plan any flights to Morocco at least until September 11. Likewise, vacation destinations and flights to the Balearic and Canary Islands have been suspended until August 23 and until August 15 for Portugal, reports The Mirror.
Tui has made these decisions by following the recommendations of the British Foreign Office which advises against all non-essential travel to Spain and Portugal.
"Due to the continued advice from the British Foreign Office against all travel except essential travel to Spain and Portugal, TUI UK has extended the cancellation of vacation destinations until Friday, August 28, 2020 for mainland Spain and Portugal and until Sunday, August 23, 2020 for the Balearic and Canary Islands," said an airline spokesperson.
TUI invites all affected customers to change their vacation flights free of charge to receive a booking premium or to cancel them to receive a full cash refund.
