Transavia Expands Routes: New Morocco Line Planned, 8 Routes from Brest Announced

The airline Transavia is considering opening a line to Morocco very soon. In the meantime, it announces the launch of eight lines from and to Brest, starting at the end of March.
Transavia plans to resume the lines closed by Air France for a promotional price of 39 euros including tax one-way, reports France info. Then, the low-cost company will launch four additional direct lines from Brest to Paris-Orly, Bastia, Ajaccio and Toulon, in addition to the existing flights to Montpellier, Marseille, Nice and Toulouse.
André Jourt, administrator of Aéroport Bretagne Ouest is delighted with this news. "It’s a sign of confidence in the future, it’s part of the resilience we all need to have. People need to have confidence in the aviation world. Today, you can take the plane with complete peace of mind with regard to health measures," he says.
Nathalie Stubler, CEO of Transavia specifies that the airline "will adapt this program to the economic reality". "We will be attentive to the recovery of traffic. But here, this announcement of new lines allows to give visibility to our customers and their travels," she continues.
The low-cost company could open a new line to Morocco, it is announced. Details on the link have not yet been communicated.
