Train Collision at Casablanca Port Station Causes Derailment, No Injuries Reported

A train derailed very early Friday morning at the Casa Port station without causing any casualties, acknowledged the National Railway Office (ONCF) following the publication of several videos on social networks.
Quoted by the 2m channel, the ONCF specifies that it is a collision between two trains during the daily maneuvers of the devices at the maintenance workshops in Casa-Port. No passengers were on board this train, which was circulating around 1:40 a.m.
On Facebook, the ONCF assures that rail traffic has resumed its normal course, adding that the "two empty trains collided without impacting the smooth running of rail traffic".
Nearly two months ago, a train accident near Bouknadel had left 7 dead and 125 injured. The driver was traveling at a speed of 158 km/h instead of the regulatory 60 km/h, the investigation had concluded.
