Tragic Suicide of Young Bride Shocks Chefchaouen, Morocco

A girl who had just got married committed suicide a few days ago according to the electronic media Goud.ma, which cites its own sources. This would take place, according to the same source, in the village of Mansour, near Chefchaouen.

This suicide would have been carried out by hanging, near the family home, and the media states that so far the reasons that led the young woman to commit suicide remain unknown.

An investigation has been opened to shed light on this whole affair and an autopsy has been requested by the public prosecutor’s office to determine the exact causes of death. Indeed, a murder can be disguised as a suicide.

It should also be noted that on March 24, in the Jerada region, a 17-year-old girl committed suicide because she was forced to marry a man she did not want.
