Tragic Public Suicide in Agadir: Man Found Hanged, Leaves Note Citing Financial Struggles

A family tragedy took place on Sunday morning in the Al Massira neighborhood of Agadir. A man in his fifties was found hanged to a tree on the public road. The deceased left a handwritten letter.
It was young people who made the macabre discovery very early this morning and alerted the police. An envelope was found by the agents in the pocket of the deceased, who, according to the coroner, had been dead for several hours.
His letter reveals the family’s financial difficulties, local sources report, noting that no information on the circumstances of the suicide has been communicated by the police.
Units of the scientific and judicial police intervened at the scene of the tragedy, while an investigation has been opened under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office to determine the details of this case.
