Tragic Drowning: 15-Year-Old Dies in Natural Spring Pool in Meknes, Morocco

Just fifteen years old, the teenager in question chose Thursday, July 18, 2019 to go swimming in the natural pool of Bab Bouaamair, accompanied by his friends, reported Barlamane.

According to the site, the waters of the "Aouinat Safya" spring were the scene of the tragedy. It is regularly used for wild swimming, the fatal one during which the unfortunate, while moving in the water, disappeared in one of the channels of the spring.

With the investigations diligently carried out by the local authorities and the police officers, it was only necessary to recover the body of the teenager. It was deposited in the morgue for an autopsy.
