Tragic Discovery: Disabled Girl’s Murder Sparks Witchcraft Rumors in Moroccan Village

The kidnapping and murder of little Naima are particularly worrying her family, as well as the highest authorities. The investigations continue, torn between witchcraft, treasure and strabismus.
The body of the little girl was found lifeless, last Saturday, in a mountain of Tafergalt, near Agdez (Province of Zagora), 41 days after her disappearance under mysterious circumstances, recalls Hespress.com. Witnesses are being questioned in order to reach the perpetrator of this crime that is shocking the national public opinion.
According to Naima’s family, the little girl had a disability in one of her legs, which could not have allowed her to reach alone the place where her body was found. But since she was cross-eyed, she was probably kidnapped and killed for reasons related to witchcraft or treasures.
While excluding that she was a victim of rape, due to her young age and physical disability, the family does not rule out that the killer is from the area and knew Naima well.
"The case has become a matter of national public opinion," said a security source to the Arabic-language website. The public prosecutor’s office said the results of the expert examination on the victim’s remains will be revealed in the coming hours.
