According to the local website Marrakech 7, a physical education teacher at the Sidi Abderrahmane high school in Marrakech refused the exemption request made by a student due to a pathology, and insisted that the latter take the mandatory long jump exam for the baccalaureate, an exercise that ultimately proved fatal to him.
A bad fall caused an open shoulder fracture in the young high school student, leading to his immediate hospitalization in a private clinic in the city after a visit to the emergency room of the Mohammed VI University Hospital. The young man’s condition deteriorated and he succumbed to his injuries.
This tragic and brutal death has caused a shock among the student’s family and friends, who have called for an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of his death.
