Torrential Rains Flood Moroccan Cities, Causing Widespread Damage

The heavy rains recorded on the night of Monday to Tuesday in several cities in Morocco caused enormous damage, especially in Agadir, Tétouan and Chefchaouen.
Already flooding and significant material damage after just a few days of rain. In Agadir, more precisely in Anza, the sight is desolate with water levels reaching considerable levels causing enormous material damage.
The inhabitants were asking for rain, but they did not expect such torrential rains with so much damage. "The streets were invaded by rainwater that quickly entered the homes and businesses," they testify.
In Tétouan and Chefchaouen, the rains were accompanied by gusts of wind, causing a stoppage of traffic between the two cities at the level of secondary road No. 2.
