Top European Clubs Vie for World Cup Sensation Azzedine Ounahi in Transfer Battle

Azzedine Ounahi will only have to choose his next destination. Arsenal, OM, Sheffield United, Inter Milan...several European clubs have him in their sights and are even making offers not to be outbid during the winter transfer window.
Trained at the Mohammed VI Football Academy, Azzedine Ounahi, one of the revelations of the World Cup in Qatar, has become the priority of certain European clubs. Leicester would have offered 45 million euros to secure the services of the 22-year-old player. But he will have to fight with other clubs very interested in the player.
Given the player’s performance at the World Cup, Saïd Chabane, the president of SCO Angers, knows he is in danger. In a statement to RTL, he acknowledged that it would be difficult for the club to keep the player. Angers would like to keep Ounahi, but given the interest he is generating, Saïd Chabane would like to conclude his transfer as early as next January, with unexpected financial inflows for the club.
But of all the clubs that have put him on their list, the Atlas Lion has a preference. According to Foot Mercato, "Ounahi is interested in Italy, a championship he particularly likes. Napoli and Inter Milan are very interested in the profile of the Moroccan international. But for the moment, it is Napoli who is in the lead." Naples would be "open to the idea of recruiting him and then loaning him to Angers until the end of the season".
