Napoli Leads Race to Sign World Cup Standout Azzedine Ounahi
Among the European clubs positioning themselves for Moroccan international Azzedine Ounahi, Naples is in pole position to secure the services of the great revelation of the 2022 World Cup.
Since his brilliant participation in the 2022 Qatar World Cup, Azzedine Ounahi is on the radar of OM, Lille, Arsenal, Inter Milan, Barça and recently Naples. The latter "is clearly the best placed to sign the nugget" from SCO Angers, le10Sport believes, adding that "if the Italian club accelerates, it will only be a formality".
Naples has a good chance of securing Azzedine’s services, as he has expressed interest in the Italian championship. "Ounahi is interested in Italy, a championship he particularly likes. Napoli and Inter Milan are very interested in the profile of the Moroccan international. But for the moment, it is Napoli who is in the lead," Foot Mercato reported last week.
