TikTok Star ’Mehdi Saucisson’ Dead at 32: Viral Sausage Creator’s Tragic End Sparks Cyberbullying Debate
The TikToker Mehdi Bassit, alias "Mehdi Saucisson", passed away during the night from Friday to Saturday. He was 32 years old.
The TikToker Mehdi Bassit is no more. Several of his loved ones, including his sister Mélissa, who is also a TikToker, have announced his death on social media. On Facebook, Melissa posted a black and white photo of Mehdi and his daughter, to pay tribute to her brother. "I miss you my son," comments the TikToker’s mother. Several thousand people have not failed to comment on the post. On TikTok, "Mehdi Saucisson" had over 2 million subscribers. He owes his reputation and his nickname to his videos with a sausage board.
The cause of Mehdi’s death? For now, the circumstances of the content creator’s death are unknown. On TikTok, his best friend claims that the TikToker was a victim of "harassment" on social media. "It was too much. Too much hatred, too much harassment, too much slander, too much injustice," she recounts.
