Morocco Takes Off Thomas Cook
Travel company Thomas Cook records its best quarter since its relaunch. This growth is directly supported by massive enthusiasm for North African destinations, with bookings to Morocco more than doubling.
The company reaches a major financial milestone during the first three months of 2026. The total value of transactions exceeds 50 million pounds sterling, marking a 39% increase compared to the previous fiscal year. The company’s revenues follow a similar trajectory with a 35% increase. January stands out particularly by posting a 78% surge in sales, a dynamic driven by new television advertising investments and improvements to digital platforms.

Morocco’s attractiveness plays a central role in this commercial performance. Departures to the kingdom, as well as to Egypt, recorded an increase exceeding 100%. While Greece, mainland Spain and the Canary Islands retain their status as preferred destinations, British travelers’ choices illustrate strong demand for budget getaways. All-inclusive packages thus represent 38% of total purchase volume, followed by offers including bed and breakfast at 33%.
