Third Suspect Arrested in Morocco Highway Robbery Case

After the arrest of the two alleged accomplices of the acts of banditry on National Road 4 (RN 4), connecting Fez to Kénitra, the police finally arrested a third suspect.
A third individual was arrested for his alleged involvement in the acts of banditism, which targeted, on the night of Monday, July 29, users of National Road 4 (RN 4) connecting Fez to Kénitra, at the level of the province of Meknes, announced the Meknes Prosecutor’s Office.
The same source confirms that two other individuals, presumed authors of these acts which disrupted traffic on this road, were incarcerated in the Meknes prison and referred to an investigating judge. Their trial is expected in the very near future.
The perpetrators of these acts of banditry were hooded and positioned on National Road 4 connecting Fez to Kénitra, in order to rob motorists and drivers of vehicles who fell into their ambush, details the same source.
