Tetouan Prison Refutes Claims of Overpriced Goods, Pledges Transparency

The prices of goods and food products in the local prison store in Tetouan are the same as those practiced on the market. There is no overcharging, assures the administration of the penitentiary institution.
The information that the administration of the Tetouan local prison was "selling food products in the establishment’s store at double their price" would be false.
In a statement, the management of the institution denied what it described as "unfounded allegations," adding that the prices of the various products available in the store will now be displayed for greater transparency.
Furthermore, "no inmate or family has filed a complaint regarding the prices of goods or food products sold in the establishment’s store," the administration states, inviting the instigators to stop tarnishing the image of the establishment.
