$10,000 for Ten Nights: American Tour Operator Launches an LGBT … Tour in Morocco
An American tour operator specializing in LGBT+ holidays has scheduled a ten-night tour of Morocco for March 2028. Limited to 30 participants, the trip will link Casablanca to Marrakech via Fès, Merzouga and Ouarzazate, at a cost of at least $9,999 per person.

Brand g Vacations will organize this trip from March 19 to 29, 2028. Presented as its first overland tour in Morocco, it is aimed primarily at an American LGBT+ clientele seeking small-group travel.
The regular price is $10,499 per person in a double room, according to the program published by the tour operator. A $500 discount brings the price down to $9,999 for the first bookings. A solo traveler will have to pay $13,999, or $13,499 with the same discount. These amounts are subject to an additional $300 in prepaid tips.

The itinerary will begin with two nights at the Royal Mansour in Casablanca, followed by a stop in Rabat and then two nights in Fès. Participants will then cross the Middle Atlas to reach Merzouga, where two nights are planned at a desert camp. The group will also pass through the Todgha Gorge, Ouarzazate and Aït Benhaddou before ending the trip with three nights in Marrakech.
The price includes accommodation, transportation in Morocco, transfers to and from the airports, and some meals. The operator requires an initial $2,000 deposit upon booking, followed by a second payment of the same amount in September 2027. Sales will open to the public on September 24, 2026, after priority access is granted to former clients.
An LGBT Tour in a Restrictive Legal Framework
The positioning of the trip contrasts with Moroccan legislation. Sexual relations between people of the same sex remain punishable under Article 489 of the Penal Code, with prison sentences ranging from six months to three years. Foreign authorities also recommend that LGBT+ travelers avoid public displays of affection.
The page dedicated to the tour details the hotels, visits and entry formalities, but contains no specific section on this legislation. It simply categorizes the trip among the LGBT+ journeys offered by the company.

Brand g Vacations is currently scheduling only one departure to Morocco, limited to 30 people. The American tour operator is thus adding the kingdom to its high-end catalog with a package sold for more than 100,000 dirhams per traveler, excluding international airfare.
