Tech Pioneer Bruno Vanryb, Founder of Avanquest Software, Dies in Morocco Accident at 61

The founder of Avanquest Software (Claranova) Bruno Vanryb died on Saturday, January 12 in a road accident in Morocco.
At the age of 61, this emblematic figure of the French tech industry died following a motorcycle accident, report several French media. "This seasoned executive, who became one of the leaders of the French high-tech industry at a very young age, had, among other things, co-founded the software publisher Avanquest Software, now renamed Claranova," writes the newspaper Les Echos, which paid tribute to him.
"Sad and shocked by the disappearance of Bruno Vanryb. His enthusiasm and commitment to entrepreneurship will be greatly missed. Heartfelt thoughts for his family and loved ones," wrote Fleur Pellerin, former minister in charge of digital affairs under François Hollande, on her Twitter account.
Bruno Vanryb had published a book in 2017, sharing his advice to all (future) entrepreneurs.
