Teacher Arrested After Student Hospitalized in Moroccan School Violence Incident

The police arrested a private school teacher in Beni Mellal for violence against a minor student. The parents filed a complaint and an investigation has been opened.
According to the daily Assabah, which reports the facts, the student received a blow to the head, which resulted in a loss of consciousness, then his transfer to the emergency room of the regional hospital of Beni-Mellal.
"His critical condition required his evacuation to the Abderrahim Harouchi University Children’s Hospital in Casablanca, where he was taken care of by a medical team," the newspaper continues.
Seized by the victim’s parents, the judicial police arrested and questioned the teacher. She was placed in custody for the needs of the investigation conducted by the public prosecutor’s office.
