Teacher Accused of Sexual Assault on Minors at Moroccan Girls’ High School

Another teacher has been flagged for sexual harassment of underage female students at the Khadija High School in Tétouan. These are some of the many complaints received in recent months by the 490 collective.
At the Khadija High School for Girls in Tétouan, an Arabic teacher is suspected of having sexually assaulted underage female students. On Tuesday, March 8, the 490 collective announced that a first high school student had decided to speak out and file a complaint with the Tétouan Attorney General.
"One of his victims whom we are supporting filed a complaint today with the Tétouan Attorney General on the basis of Articles 485 and 487 of the Penal Code (sexual assault on a minor by a person in authority over him), but also 503-2 (sexual exploitation of minors) and 503-1 (harassment). At the 490 Collective, we are closely following this case and we will join as a civil party," the 490 collective said in a statement.
"For now, there is only one person who has filed a complaint. The others live in terror, under the pressure of their entourage," regrets the collective, which explains that since the outbreak of the "sex for good grades" affair in Oujda, more and more students, but also students, are breaking the silence and coming forward.
