TAP Air Portugal Expands North African Routes, Adds Flights to Morocco and Tunisia

TAP Air Portugal is launching four new air routes to North Africa from Lisbon, including two to Morocco this summer. The launch of these lines is part of its post-pandemic recovery plan.
This announcement was made on the official Facebook and Twitter accounts of the airline. TAP Air Portugal will serve two Moroccan cities, Oujda and Agadir, with two flights per week and four weekly flights respectively, it is specified. In addition to Morocco, the company will connect two cities in Tunisia: Monastir and Djerba.
According to Christine Ourmières-Widener, TAP’s delegate, these are four important tourist destinations that reflect the company’s position in North Africa. Travelers are invited to make their reservations on the TAP Air Portugal website.
Travelers from Portugal classified in list A - whether Moroccan nationals, foreigners established in Morocco, or citizens of these countries or foreigners residing there - can have access to Moroccan territory upon presentation of a certificate attesting that they are fully vaccinated by one of the vaccines authorized by the Moroccan authorities, or a negative PCR test less than 72 hours old at boarding for unvaccinated or partially vaccinated persons, as well as a passenger health form to be downloaded online before boarding (also distributed on board the plane).
