Tangier Unveils Modern Bus Station to Boost Urban Transport and Development

The National Transport and Logistics Company (SNTL) has put into service since last Friday the new bus station in Tangier. An impressive and modern infrastructure that already accommodates all passenger traffic, coaches and grand taxis from the old station.
Gradually, the city of Tangier is equipping itself with new infrastructures that further enhance its image. This is the case of the new bus station, the latest architectural gem put into service last Friday.
Located on the 9th ring road in Hay El Hassani, this infrastructure, which is part of the "Tangier-Metropolis for the integrated, balanced and inclusive development of the city of the Strait" program, will not only improve traffic in the city, but also provide Tangier with modern transport facilities, reports Menara.
According to Rachid Bazi, Head of the Bus Station Service within the National Transport and Logistics Company (SNTL), "the new Tangier bus station is part of the new generation of bus stations that benefit from a new architecture".
He added that it constitutes an urban hub aimed at contributing, as a lever, to development within the city.
In order to facilitate the task of the traveler, while complying with the requirements of modernity, the SNTL has created a management model for this new generation of stations, equipping them with single counters.
Here, in particular, indicates the head of the structure, "travelers collect electronic tickets that contain all the information about their trip".
