The Swiss group Cicor acquires two Valtronic plants in the United States and Morocco

This acquisition, which should bring an additional 20 million Swiss francs to the Bronschofen group, will not affect its balance sheet or its EBITDA margin, the company explains in a press release. In addition, Cicor will take on 220 new employees, bringing its total workforce to 4,620 people.

With this operation, Cicor is establishing itself for the first time in the United States, particularly in Cleveland. A foothold that allows it to serve orders from more than 40 million people. "Building our own factory would have cost us much more in investment and start-up costs," the note states.

The Moroccan plant is based in Berrechid, in the same building as Eolane Maroc’s plant, which Cicor acquired last spring. "Everything will now be grouped together in the same place, which will allow us to double our production capacity on site," the group points out.

The acquisition of Valtronic’s activities, whose headquarters are in the Vallée de Joux, should be completed in the coming weeks.
