Suspect in Beauvais Nightclub Shooting Traced to Morocco, Police Say

Three weeks after the violent brawl that broke out in the parking lot of the Bug nightclub in Beauvais on April 27, a man, designated as the author of the gunshots that seriously injured a security guard, is still on the run. He would apparently be in Morocco.
While two suspects have been indicted and remanded in custody for "attempted murder," their role seems secondary. The key man, Jessy D., 27, already known to the justice system for 18 convictions, fled after the events, reports le Courrier Picard.
According to sources close to the case, Jessy D. would have taken refuge in Morocco, as evidenced by the last pinging of his cell phone in Casablanca. The investigators of the judicial police of Creil, in charge of the investigations, are exploring the track of a drug trafficker from Beauvais, close to the godfather Mohammed Benabdelhak known as Le Bombé, who would have facilitated his escape.
This high-level drug trafficker, suspected of fueling a vast cannabis trafficking between Morocco and France, would have established his main residence in Morocco, hence the presumed alliance with Jessy D.
However, this involvement is not certain. Another well-informed observer of the case is more cautious: "The little Jessy with the big trafficker, I would be very surprised," he confides anonymously.
