Survey: 90% of Moroccans Support Palestinian Resistance Over Two-State Solution

Moroccans have expressed their views on the political proposals put forward to resolve the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Only 10% of them are in favor of the two-state solution.
90% of Moroccans believe that the solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict lies in the continuation of the Palestinian resistance until the end of the occupation, while only 10% support the option of the two-state solution. This is the result of a survey conducted online by the Youth of the Party of Justice and Development (PJD) in Fez among 1,013 people, in order to measure how Moroccans are following the ongoing events in Palestine, as well as the repercussions of the "Al-Aqsa Torrent" operation on their opinions and positions.
93% of respondents believe that the action of the Palestinian resistance on October 7 was a strategic strike, resulting in significant gains and reviving the Palestinian cause. Only 7% of participants, on the other hand, believe that this action was carried out hastily, without concern for the consequences. Since this spectacular and surprise attack, Israel has continued its offensive in the Gaza Strip. According to Hamas, the conflict has cost the lives of nearly 22,000 people, mostly women, teenagers and children, and injured more than 57,000.
Regarding participation in the boycott campaign of companies supporting Israel, 89% of respondents have participated, while 81% have shown their support through participation and interaction on social networks. About 60% have participated in support and solidarity demonstrations.
The respondents also reacted to the official position of Morocco. "The Kingdom of Morocco has manifested, since the beginning of the Israeli aggression against Gaza, its positions through various channels, issuing in particular four official communiqués" through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad. In addition to its position, Morocco has also sent humanitarian aid to Gaza. 85% of respondents consider this official commitment "insufficient". 13.5% consider it a balanced position, while only 1.5% consider it advanced.
