Survey: 96% of Moroccans Skeptical of Fortune-Telling, Horoscopes

The Sunergia cabinet conducted a survey on Moroccans’ beliefs in "superior forces", in the supernatural, including fortune-tellers’ predictions, horoscopes or the evil eye. Here are the results.
Conducted with a representative sample of over 1,000 people, the survey by the Sunergia cabinet reveals that 96% of Moroccans do not really believe in fortune-tellers’ predictions. As for horoscopes, only 10% of respondents say they believe in astrological predictions. Among them, people over the age of 64 are numerous to have faith in these predictions.

When questioned about luck, 48% of respondents claim to believe in luck, while 46% claim the opposite. The rate of superstitious people (53%) is highest among the 55-64 age group. 77% of respondents say they believe in the existence of the evil eye, while only 19% say they do not. 80% of the people surveyed (young people) are more likely to fear and believe in the evil eye.
