Survey: Moroccan Business Leaders Optimistic About Economic Outlook

Moroccan business leaders are showing optimism about the economic outlook for the next twelve months. This is revealed by a survey by the consulting firm Oxford Business Group.

The fourth survey of OBG CEOs in Morocco indicates that the sentiment of domestic companies remains strong, with 78% of respondents, reports L’Economiste. According to the same source, Moroccan bosses have "positive or very positive" expectations about the economic situation over the next 12 months.

76% of the surveyed bosses say their companies can make a significant capital investment during this period.

According to OBG, "this shows that, despite headwinds, the business world remains confident in the short and medium-term economic outlook".

In addition, 74% of CEOs say they have "positive or very positive" expectations about the results of the intra-regional trade agreement.
