Supermodel Adriana Karembeu's Marrakech Mansion Turned Luxury Hotel Dazzles Guests

Since 2019, top model and TV host Adriana Karembeu owns a luxurious hotel in Marrakech that impresses anyone lucky enough to stay in this establishment.

From a personal home to a hotel. "My ex-husband loved to entertain. When we were drawing up plans for our future house in Marrakech, he would tell me every day that he wanted to add rooms to accommodate this or that friend. One evening, I told him that at this rate, he might as well build a hotel," Adriana Karembeu confided in an interview with Gala.fr. The house of the Slovak model and her ex-husband Aram Ohanian was transformed into a hotel on March 1, 2019. Its name: Palais Ronsard Relais & Châteaux, an establishment located just a few kilometers from the famous Jemaa el-Fna square. The hotel owes its name to the famous Pierre de Ronsard rose, Adriana Karembeu’s favorite flower.

Interior architect Gil Dez and decorator France Ansaldi ensured the layout and decoration of this high-end establishment, blending Moroccan tradition and Art Deco spirit. Designed as a secret garden, this 5-star hotel offers 28 suites (about 70 m² in size) complemented by 6 villas (from 175 to 190 m²) with private pools scattered among three hectares of garden. The rooms are vast and the bathrooms vertiginous. "No two rooms are alike," confided the mother of little Nina. The establishment also has three restaurants, including Le Jardin d’Hiver, the most famous. It even won the Prix Versailles for the most beautiful restaurant in the world in 2020.

The Palais Ronsard also offers a spa and a long outdoor pool, "bordered by shaded terraces and discreet misters that come into operation as soon as the outside temperature exceeds 35 degrees." It costs a minimum of 500 euros for a night in the Prestige Room (60 m²) and a minimum of 1495 euros for a night in the Grand Pavilion (175 m²) and 115 euros per person for a "day pass" including access to the pool, lunch (starter, main course and dessert) and a non-alcoholic cocktail.
