Stunning Photo Exhibition Showcases Morocco’s Amazigh Culture in Milan

"Berbères Portraits" is the name of the exhibition bearing the touch of Portuguese photographer Rui Pires and which recently opened in Milan, highlighting the richness of the Moroccan Amazigh culture.
The exhibition, which will be held until April 10, reveals the beauty of the landscapes and architecture, the cultural diversity and the heritage of the Amazigh tribes of the Kingdom. It is an exhibition of photos taken by Pires with people who welcomed him into their homes. It highlights the social dimension and their daily life in its smallest details, reports the MAP.
"This exhibition takes us to distant landscapes where Rui, with his bold colors, illustrates a population through sun-marked faces, earthen dwellings and camels, the limitless spaces of the desert and its dunes," said Alessandro Fidato, general manager of the Sea Aeroporti di Milano group, the organizer of the exhibition, in collaboration with the Italian Photographic Archives.
Rui Pires defines himself as a classical artist, whose passion for photography stems from the desire to tell life stories, combining geographic photography and social reporting.
