Strasbourg Airport Closure Forces Airlines to Suspend or Relocate Flights

Following the announcement of the closure of Strasbourg-Entzheim airport, Air Arabia Maroc has decided to relocate its flights. Royal Air Maroc, on the other hand, has suspended them.
It is now "necessary to ensure the continuity of aeronautical activities and guarantee the safety of takeoffs and landings to carry out runway renovation work," says Strasbourg-Entzheim airport in a press release. Thus, the runway of the Strasbourg airport will be completely closed to air traffic from March 14 to April 14, 2023 inclusive. As a result, flights will be suspended during this period upon arrival and departure from Strasbourg-Entzheim airport. Some airlines have already opted to suspend their flights during this period, while others have relocated them.
The airline Royal Air Maroc has thus suspended its flights from Strasbourg-Entzheim airport to Casablanca. In contrast, Air Arabia Maroc has relocated its flights from the Strasbourg airport to Fez and Nador, departing from Basel-Mulhouse.
