Storm Dennis Strands 190 Ryanair Passengers Bound for Morocco at Vatry Airport

In total, 190 passengers bound for Fez were stranded, on Sunday, February 16, 2019, at Vatry airport for lack of a plane. The flight of the Irish company Ryanair was canceled due to storm Dennis.
Passengers residing in the area had to spend the night at home, while the others were accommodated at the hotel and in the airport terminal, reports L’Union. On Monday, the airline Ryanair will provide them with a plane that will operate this flight to Fez.
On Sunday, February 9, passengers had faced the same situation. Flights to Fez and Porto were canceled due to storm Ciara. And the passengers were forced to spend the night from Sunday to Monday in the Vatry airport terminal. No one had "neither water nor food, nor alternative accommodation solution" until 3 a.m., a traveler bound for Fez had said.
The Irish company had offered them to go to an airport in Germany or Luxembourg to take the plane. But they had opposed this proposal, forcing Ryanair to give in, who found them the alternative solution they were demanding. Thus, on Monday, February 10, the company met their request.
