Stellantis to Launch Affordable Electric Fiat Pandina, Production Planned in Morocco

The Stellantis automotive group is expanding its range with the new all-electric Fiat Pandina car that will be produced in Morocco, Brazil and Serbia.
The Stellantis group will launch this new car on July 11, 2024 to continue the expansion of its market. The new Panda is, for the time being, in the testing phase at the Italian Patent and Trademark Office, reports the specialized press. Fiat Pandina will be the group’s first low-cost electric car, with a price set at less than 20,000 euros. Meanwhile, the old Panda will continue to be produced at the Pomigliano plant in Italy until 2026, it is specified. It is the best-selling car in Italy.
In addition to the Fiat Pandina, Stellantis will produce the Fiat Topolino, a 100% electric city car, in the Kenitra plant in Morocco. The announcement had been made in June. This car joins the Citroën Ami and the Opel Rocks-e to form a rather original trio of quadricycles. This vehicle will be marketed from 2024. The new Fiat Multipla will also be manufactured in Morocco from 2025. This car will replace the Tipo and the 500 X, two models that will disappear from the Fiat range.
