Spotify Expands Middle Eastern Presence with 10,000 Arabic Song Deal

After Deezer and Anghami, the Saudi label Rotana has just signed a partnership agreement with Spotify for the promotion of Arabic songs.
With this agreement, the exclusive music catalog of the Rotana group will now be available on the Spotify platform in the Middle East, North Africa and several other consumer markets for this type of music. About 10,000 Arabic songs will be added to the Swedish giant’s catalog, which, by signing this contract, shows its willingness to establish itself in the MENA region and compete with the platforms in the region.
Now on the Spotify interface, there is a section called "This Is Rotana" that will scroll through more than 100 new Arabic artists including Elissa, Abdul Majeed Abdullah, Rashed Al-Majed, Assala Nasri, Majed Almohandis, Rabeh Saqer, Mohammed Abdu, Najwa Karam, Tamer Hosny and many others.
