Speeding Driver Kills Two, Injures Four in Ramadan Prayer Hit-and-Run Near Nador, Morocco

As they were leaving the Tarawih prayer, 6 women, including a pregnant woman and a young child, were hit by a vehicle traveling at very high speed. The driver fled... on foot. One woman died as well as a child.
This accident took place in the vicinity of Nador, and more precisely in Hay Lqods in Laraoui. According to Noonpresse, the driver was at the wheel of a Renault 19, driving at very high speed, and the women were coming out of the Tarawih prayer when the tragedy occurred.
The same media specifies that the driver, after hitting the 6 women, got out of his vehicle and fled the scene. This happened on Sunday and it is still unknown whether he has been arrested or not. It should be noted that the accident occurred at night...
The victims were taken to the Mohammed VI hospital in Laroui to receive the necessary care and an investigation has been opened by the authorities to understand what happened and apprehend the motorist.
The site Kech24 affirms for its part that one of the victims of this serious accident has just died from her injuries. She would have had fractures to the head and chest, and it would be an elderly woman (over 70 years old, explains the media). She died on Monday morning.
For its part, the local site Nadorcity specifies that a child, also a victim of this reckless driver, lost her life from her injuries. She was only 12 years old.
