Spanish TikToker Reveals Budget-Friendly Morocco Trip, Highlighting Chefchaouen's Affordability

Marta Lara, a young Spanish woman, shared her travel experience in Morocco on TikTok. The content creator appreciated the affordable cost of living in Chefchaouen, the northern city of the kingdom where she stayed.

In her video, Marta detailed her expenses for this trip to Morocco. The young woman confides that she spent 20 euros for a one-way plane ticket to Morocco. Once in the kingdom, she and her companion enjoyed a doughnut before taking a taxi to the train station. A journey that cost them 2.5 euros. Then, they spent 6 euros for their bus transportation to Chefchaouen.

Feeling tired upon arrival in the blue city, the two visitors decided to regain their strength. They bought a bottle of water and chips for 7 dirhams (about 70 cents), and finished the sandwiches and doughnuts they had left.

Regarding accommodation, Marta and her friend were also pleasantly surprised by the prices in Chefchaouen. They paid only 20 euros each for a night in a Riad. Marta says she was impressed by the comfort of the room for this price. After a night of rest, the two tourists treated themselves to a walk in the city, during which they consumed fresh orange juice for 15 dirhams (1.5 euros).

In the evening, they dined at a restaurant, savoring a veal tagine with prunes and a chicken couscous which cost them 145 dirhams (14 euros). On their way back to the riad, they stopped at a creperie and ordered a crepe with Nutella and Kinder Bueno for 20 dirhams. In total, Marta admits to having spent 59.7 euros during this day in Morocco.
