Spanish PM Sanchez Heckled Over Western Sahara Policy at Campaign Rally

The President of the Spanish Government, Pedro Sanchez, was called a "traitor" during a rally of the Spanish Socialist Party (PSOE) in the city of Segovia (Castile and León), during this pre-electoral campaign period.
The events took place during a rally in Segovia, in the Zuloaga garden. As Pedro Sanchez was addressing an audience of 300 people, a woman reproached him for his handling of foreign policy. "You should rethink your policy on the Sahara," declared the young woman, recalling that the president had expressed his support for Morocco’s autonomy plan for the Sahara. Visibly nervous, Sanchez assured that "that’s not it," reports El Municipio.
Other young people in the audience wanted to address the same issue, but Pedro Sanchez skillfully ended this debate. That’s when participants started hurling insults at him like "Traitor," "How much is Morocco paying you?". To stifle this rebellion, the militants and supporters of the Socialist Party began in turn to chant "President, president".
"That’s the big difference. We don’t insult anyone. We defend our positions with respect and pedagogy," said Pedro Sanchez, as security expelled the troublemakers.
