Spanish Runner Adel Mechaal Wins Ibiza 10,000m Race, Just Misses National Record

The Spanish athlete of Moroccan origin, Adel Mechaal, won this Sunday the second edition of the relay race organized in Platja d’en Bossa by the Ibiza athletics club, with a time of 27:50, narrowly missing the Spanish record in the 10,000 meters.
The Olympic athlete from the New Balance club regretted the lack of collaboration from the Ethiopian Berihun Yerga in the relays, which did not allow him to beat the Spanish record, held since 2018 by Toni Abadía, with a time of 27:48, reports Diario de Ibiza.
