Spanish Police Uncover Moroccan Mafia Torture Chambers in Costa del Sol Villas

The police have discovered torture chambers in luxury homes on the Costa del Sol belonging to the "Mocro Maffia", the Moroccan mafia active in the Netherlands and Belgium and specialized in hashish trafficking.

The Mocro Maffia has set up torture chambers in one of the luxury villas on the Costa del Sol, police sources told Vozpópuli. These soundproofed rooms equipped with all kinds of torture objects are not known to all members of the organization. The national police discovered one of these rooms during an anti-drug operation, it is reported.

The Dutch Mocro Maffia is suspected, for example, of the murder of journalist Peter R. de Vries in 2021 on a street in central Amsterdam. He was assassinated because of his journalistic investigations into this network. These networks operate with the Colombian cartels, thanks to which they have been able to regularly import drugs into Europe, via the ports of Antwerp, Rotterdam, Hamburg and Algeciras.

The Belgian and Dutch police forces have managed to decrypt a communication system known as "Sky ECC", used by this network, which has allowed them to increase drug seizures, prevent murders and discover some freight containers transformed into torture chambers, as well as these torture chambers in luxury villas on the Costa del Sol.

Spain is the main gateway for Moroccan hashish into the European continent and the Schengen area. The objective of the Mocro Maffia is to transform the Costa del Sol into a drug trafficking hub. According to police sources, the criminal network is about to ally itself with the Spanish hashish gangs operating in the Strait of Gibraltar to control the market in the area.
