Spanish Police Seize 7 Luxury Cars Stolen in Belgium Bound for Morocco

Agents of the Civil Guard at the port of Algeciras (Cádiz) intercepted seven cars stolen in Belgium that were about to be shipped to Morocco to be sold there.
During a routine check before boarding, the agents had doubts about the Dutch license plate of a car. Examining the vehicle’s documents, they discovered that it was actually a new, unregistered car stolen in Belgium. A thorough investigation allowed them to locate six other vehicles in the port with false documents, similar to those of the first one intercepted.
The seven cars recovered by the Civil Guard were about to be transported to Morocco, reports El Debate. Their market value amounts to 300,000 euros. Increasingly, vehicle theft trafficking networks are using the ports of Cádiz to ship them to Morocco. In mid-April, the Civil Guard arrested three individuals at the port of Tarifa who were attempting to transport five cars stolen in France and the Netherlands, worth 100,000 euros, to Morocco.
