Spanish Police Rescue Woman Held Captive for 8 Months with Dangerous Dog in Malaga

A young woman of Moroccan origin spent several months locked in a room in the presence of a dangerous dog. Her boyfriend, a 22-year-old Moroccan national, had held her hostage, locking her in a room and only allowing her to go out in his company.
The events took place in a house in Malaga, in southern Spain, illegally occupied by a young Moroccan, who subjected his partner to the worst abuse, not hesitating to lock her up for eight months alone in the company of a dangerous dog.
The young woman managed to free herself from the grip of her boyfriend, thanks to a friend who agreed to welcome her, and finally filed a complaint with the police. Following the search carried out on site, the police discovered that the young Moroccan was illegally occupying the premises, fraudulently exploiting public electricity, and growing cannabis in a room of the house.
The man was taken into custody on charges of violence, threats and kidnapping, pending his appearance before the court.
