Spanish Police Rescue Moroccan Hostage in Drug Deal Gone Wrong

Wednesday 14 August 2019, by Bladi.net

The Civil Guard freed, on July 30, 2019, in a house in Almussafes (Valencia), a Moroccan caught up with a group of Italians, for a drug case, which went wrong.

It all started with a negotiation with the Italians concerned who, wanting to obtain hashish, called on two Moroccans. They had promised them the goods, and they had received the agreed 74,000 euros. On the day of the transaction, the Moroccans directed the Italians to a parked vehicle at a location they had indicated. In vain for the latter. They did not get the goods, as agreed.

Angry, they went to the home of their swindlers to settle the score with them. Unfortunately, they will only find one of them, whom they have taken with one of his children. His companion had fled with the 74,000 euros, without telling his friend.

Meanwhile, the victim’s brother was receiving calls from the kidnappers who ordered him to repay the money. They even went so far as to threaten to amputate his brother if the fleeing Moroccan did not return the sum of money he had taken. Having rather cooperated with the Civil Guard, which he had time to warn, the fleeing Moroccan led it to the end of the investigation. The agents continued to work, carefully analyzing the calls from the kidnappers and activating all available means, once they had located the house.

In less than 24 hours, the intervention agents entered it, convinced that there were three victims, even if, in the end, there was only one. In the house, they found three minors, more precisely, two children of the kidnappers and that of the intermediary. They witnessed, despite themselves, the assaults and threats suffered by the victim.

The Civil Guard finally arrested six people: three Italians, two women of the same nationality and, the intermediary, of Moroccan origin. The judge then sentenced them to five years in prison and released an Italian who, apparently, was just passing through.
