Spanish Police Probe Death of Moroccan Man Accused in Hit-and-Run Case

The Civil Guard continues its investigation to shed light on the death that occurred on Friday of a young Moroccan, accused of a hit-and-run in the town of Roldán (Murcia).
The agents, accompanied by sniffer dogs, searched on Saturday the duplex located on Colibri Street, in El Jimenado (Torre Pacheco), which was squatted by the Moroccan, about 30 years old, according to sources close to the investigation. They were looking for clues that could help solve this case, reports La Verdad.
For the moment, the agents are studying the hypothesis that the young man, accused of a hit-and-run, would have been the victim of an assault and had a wound to the abdomen. He was bleeding profusely and must have lost consciousness at the wheel of the car, which led him to veer off the road, onto the terrace of the bar in Roldán, causing the death of a customer.
The investigation is ongoing. The agents were to receive the results of the autopsy of his body on Saturday.
