Spanish Police Bust International Hashish Ring Spanning Morocco to Denmark

The Spanish police have dismantled a hashish trafficking network from Morocco to Denmark. In total, five people were arrested, including two in Malaga and three in Denmark.
The members of this network would have introduced more than 3.5 tons of hashish from Morocco to Denmark, indicated on Saturday police sources to El Mundo. The drugs, hidden in trucks transporting live animals, arrive in Spain from Morocco, before being transported to Denmark where they are distributed.
The Danish Special Crimes Unit (NSK) opened an investigation a few years ago into this criminal organization dedicated, among other things, to the hashish trade in the city of Copenhagen and the surrounding towns. Last December, the agents of the national police noted the presence in Marbella of two members of this network, including a Dane, a former member of the Hell’s Angels.
These two criminals were responsible for contacting the hashish suppliers in Morocco, organizing the transfer of the drugs to Spain and their shipment to Denmark. They had been arrested in Spain last year as part of a settling of scores between their gang and a Polish gang.
At the end of this operation carried out in collaboration with Europol as part of EMPACT (European Multidisciplinary Platform Against Criminal Threats), 59,000 euros were seized in Spain, as well as hashish and various computer and telephone equipment in Denmark.
