Spanish Police Bust Drug Trafficking Ring in Marbella Kidnapping Case

The Spanish police arrested 15 individuals, including Moroccans, as alleged perpetrators of multiple kidnappings linked to a settling of scores between Moroccan hashish trafficking networks.
The Marbella police station was informed on December 4 of a series of disappearances in just a few hours. The complainants explained that their relatives had disappeared and feared the worst, as the victims had not returned to work and their mobile phones were turned off. The agents suspected that all the disappearances were linked to a settling of scores between drug trafficking networks and decided to act very quickly to find the four missing persons, one of whom was diabetic and needed insulin.
The four people were kidnapped by about ten heavily armed men, and tortured in a house located in La Quinta Hills, according to sources consulted by El Confidencial, specifying that the kidnappers had information on the relatives of the four victims and threatened to harm them. The kidnappers wanted to know where the 1,500 kilos of hashish divided into 50 bales that had been stolen or, failing that, that 5 million euros be paid to them. After two days
