Spanish Police Arrest Suspected ISIS Supporter in Madrid Region

The Spanish National Police arrested on Thursday a man suspected of being linked to the Islamic State (IS) organization. The 25-year-old man is a Moroccan national.
The individual resided in the municipality of Parla (Madrid region), according to the Spanish media citing security sources. He is accused of having distributed "illicit content glorifying terrorism". A way of doing things that is in line with the same logic as the Islamic State group. The operation carried out by the anti-terrorist police allowed the seizure of some "electronic devices, equipment, terminals and books glorifying the extremist ideology".
The arrest of this suspected jihadist comes three weeks after the arrest of four members of a terrorist cell, during a joint operation carried out in Morocco and Spain.
The suspects, aged 25 and 39, had "joined propaganda campaigns glorifying" the IS and held meetings to "carry out terrorist operations," according to the same source.
