Spanish Police Arrest Second Suspect in Seville Terror Investigation

Arrested by the Moroccan police, following his arrest on April 9, Zouheir El Bouhdidi, a 23-year-old student, eventually provided the names of four acquaintances residing in Seville, the city where he was pursuing his studies.
A second suspect, also a student at the University of Seville, was apprehended this week by the Spanish police, and presented before the judge. The accused was released on probation, conditioned in particular by the seizure of the passport, the prohibition to leave Spanish territory, and the weekly appearance before a court.
According to Spanish media, the local police services "are studying the material seized in Zouheir’s house, his radicalization process", knowing that the Moroccan had contacts, via the Telegram application, with a leader of Daesh in Syria.
Having planned an attack in Seville during Holy Week, the young Moroccan student was ordered by the Daesh organization to form a terrorist cell and await instructions on the places to target.
