Spanish Police Arrest Driver Smuggling Moroccan Migrant in Car Trunk at Ceuta Port

Drama of illegal immigration. The Spanish police have just announced the arrest of a Moroccan migrant who was about to take a ferry hidden in the trunk of a car.
On its Twitter account, the police thus explain that they also arrested the driver of a car for attempting to take the boat with a man, of Moroccan nationality, hidden in the trunk of his car.
"[Arrest of a man in the port of Ceuta for attempting to board a ferry with a migrant hidden in the trunk. The man who was traveling in the trunk is of Moroccan nationality and was trying to access the peninsula in this way]," it was written.
The migrant was arrested by the police and prosecuted for violating the immigration law, while the driver of the car is being prosecuted for human trafficking. They have both been taken into custody.
This type of arrest is unfortunately very common in Ceuta and Melilla where many migrants, very often sub-Saharan Africans, are willing to risk everything to reach the two Spanish enclaves, sometimes at the risk of their lives. Recently, two men had been found hidden in mattresses, while a child had been discovered a few years ago in a suitcase.
