Moroccan Man Arrested at Spanish Border with 47,000 Hidden Psychotropic Pills

A Moroccan residing in Spain was arrested on Monday morning by customs officers at the Bab Sebta crossing for drug trafficking.
A customs source tells the MAP that this "vehicle control operation at the Bab Sebta crossing made it possible to seize this quantity of drugs, hidden in a car registered in Spain."
In total, 47,250 psychotropic tablets were found after a search of the car about to return to Ceuta, the source said, adding that the drugs were hidden "in compartments made in the four doors, the dashboard, under the steering wheel and in the trunk door."
The driver of the car, a Moroccan residing in Spain, was handed over to the judicial police in Tetouan for further investigation.
