Spanish Pedophile Ring Trial: Moroccan Suspect Faces 710-Year Sentence for Child Exploitation

More than 103 children, including Moroccans, were exploited by a criminal network of seven people. The Spanish justice system has demanded a sentence of 6,317 years in prison against the accused, including 710 years for a Moroccan named Younes.
According to the newspaper Diario de Tarragona, the trial will take place starting next November. Seven individuals are being prosecuted for the exploitation of minors in Barcelona and Valencia, as well as in Morocco.
This network, which had been dismantled on August 9, 2016 by the Guardia Civil, made an estimated gain of more than 80,000 euros by publishing videos of minors on 28 websites.
The investigation revealed that the criminal cell had created a tourism company inviting elderly pedophiles to trips to Morocco, for the filming of obscene scenes with minors. The cell, which operated in Tarragona, managed to seduce the children with trips and fees ranging from 10,000 to 20,000 euros.
The Spanish police search operation made it possible to seize 3 million files containing obscene videos and photos, as well as professional computer and photographic equipment.
