Spanish PM’s Morocco Vacation Sparks Political Backlash

The Popular Party (PP) is multiplying the outings to denounce the fact that the acting president of the government, Pedro Sanchez, has chosen to spend his vacation in Morocco, considering that he "neglects his obligations".
Pedro Sanchez’s trip to Morocco is a "clear provocation," Miguel Tellado, the PP’s deputy secretary general for organization, said Wednesday in an interview with Onda Cero cited by El Dia Segovia, accusing the head of government of "neglecting his obligations" in the current post-electoral context. Tellado also denounced Sanchez’s "arrogance" who, according to him, is trying to make people believe that he won the July 23 elections, inviting him to acknowledge his defeat and meet the PP president, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, instead of clinging to power.
For the Popular leader, the political situation in Spain is very complicated, because today in the Socialist Party (PSOE), "there is no one to talk to: the person in charge does not want to talk to anyone and has gone on vacation, and all the others cannot because he will not let them," he said, stressing that the PP will do everything possible to ensure that Alberto Núñez Feijóo can be installed at the Moncloa.
"Only Sanchez can go on vacation in peace," Cuca Gamarra, the PP’s secretary general, denounces in turn, recalling that unemployment is reaching alarming proportions in the country.
