Spanish Man Arrested for Stabbing Wife in Domestic Violence Attack, Victim in Critical Condition

The Civil Guard arrested in Arguedas (Navarre) a man accused of having stabbed his Moroccan-origin wife three times in their home. Seriously injured, the victim was transferred to the hospital. Her vital prognosis is engaged.
The suspect, aged 50, was arrested on an adjacent street to the marital home where he violently assaulted his wife, the Civil Guard reports, specifying that the man resisted his arrest. He no longer had the knife used to stab the victim, which was later found by the agents.
The 44-year-old Moroccan woman was transferred to the Reina Sofía hospital in Tudela. Her vital prognosis is engaged, the Civil Guard notes, stressing that they had never recorded a complaint from her for domestic violence.
